Keeping the peace at movie night

One of our favorite things to do as a family is have family movie night. This usually consists of the kids and Mommy running to the Dollar Tree for candy, while Daddy stays home and starts the popcorn. We used to have a big free for all bowl that we would all try to share. With eight people, this did not always end well.

A few years ago, I found these adorable individual popcorn buckets that were just screaming for me to Cricut them. I bought a whole bunch and made personalized popcorn buckets for the members in our families. They all loved them, so I had to make them for us too. This has made the popcorn aspect of family night much less like the Hunger Games and more like It’s a Wonderful Life.

No more arguing over who got more, and the kids really enjoy having something all to themselves. At the end of the night, we just throw them in the dishwasher, and they hold up really well. I found the containers on Amazon. The personalized touch makes the little ones feel special. If you’re interested in a set for your family, please send me a message, and I can help make that happen and bring the peace to your family movie night.

  1. Where was my popcorn when I was watching Hallmark Movies? Forget the popcorn, send grandchildren 😍
